HYDROXYAPATITE
What is "HAP"?
60% of human bone, 97% of tooth enamel and 70% of dentin are made of natural calcium phosphate "HAP" [Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2]called hydroxyapatite. Even synthetic hydroxyapatite is a highly safe biomaterial that is familiar to the human body. Moreover, it can have various characteristics by its synthesis method.
Due to its high safety, it is used for biomaterials such as industrial raw materials, food additives, cosmetic raw materials, pharmaceutical raw materials and artificial bones.
Characteristic
Hydroxyapatite is the main component of mammalian bones and teeth.
It is a food-designated additive and it is the ratio of calcium and phosphorus, which is said to have the best absorption to the human body.
By eating, it increases the strength of the bone.
It is easy to disperse in gum base, gelatin / pectin and other gelling agents.
Unlike calcium carbonate, it does not foam even if it dissolves in stomach acid, so there is no discomfort after eating.
Changes will not occur even if low temperature and high temperature sterilization is performed.

* APALIN is compliant with raw material standard 2006 in Japan.
Product development
Sangi has studied hydroxyapatite for more than 30 years, established its own technology, unique manufacturing method, and continues to evolve today.
The chemical product team aims to create products that respond to customer's requests by controlling the particle shape (spherical, plate, crown etc.), particle size, surface area, etc.
